About the Role

As a skilled in-home caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, medication administration, and companionship.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives. You will have the chance to work independently, but also be part of a team that values collaboration and mutual support.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, experience in community care or home care, and excellent communication skills. They will also be flexible, available to work a variety of shifts, and willing to travel to client homes in the Newcastle, Port Stephens, Lake Macquarie, and surrounding region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled and quality in-home caregiving, including personal care, manual handling, and medication administration
  • Assist clients to access the community and maintain their independence
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
  • Contribute to the development of individualized care plans and goals
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in community care or home care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and availability to work a variety of shifts
  • Ability to travel to client homes in the Newcastle, Port Stephens, Lake Macquarie, and surrounding region
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
