This role focuses on leading impactful infrastructure upgrades in a government setting.
About the OpportunityThe position is responsible for administering, maintaining and enhancing hybrid infrastructure platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer and maintain Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments.
- Monitor system performance to ensure high availability.
- Lead system upgrades, patching and security updates in accordance with policy.
- Collaborate with application support teams to develop upgrade plans.
- Standardise build procedures using templated images and automation tools.
- Assist with virtual machine migrations and hardware transitions.
- Participate in a 24x7 support roster for critical infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience in Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
- Proven capability in VMware vSphere, vCenter and ESXi automation.
- Practical experience with Citrix technologies including Studio, Director and NetScaler Gateway.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash or PowerCLI).
- Familiarity with MECM/SCCM or equivalent deployment frameworks.
- Experience delivering infrastructure uplift in enterprise settings.
- Exposure to secure build baselines, patching and monitoring practices.
- Experience in regulated or cost-recovery environments.
