About the Role

The client is a high-profile and well-established women's apparel label seeking a strategic leader for its national retail business across Australia. The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day operations, drive growth, and enhance customer experience.

This full-time office-based position is located at the head office in Melbourne CBD fringe.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Set the strategic vision and operational plans for the retail business
  2. Manage a team of store managers and coordinators to deliver outstanding customer service
  3. Oversee all aspects of retail operations, including inventory management, sales and marketing, human resources, and financial performance
  4. Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability
  5. Represent the retail business to internal and external stakeholders
  6. Build a positive, collaborative team culture to drive employee engagement and retention
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform decision-making
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in a senior retail management or general management role
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing retail teams
  • Excellent operational, financial, and people management skills
  • Able to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree in business, commerce, or a related field
