Senior Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to drive innovation and technical excellence in our Trade Credit team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and driven individual to join our growing team and provide day-to-day business development services on designated accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of national and global clients, working closely with senior brokers on strategic clients
  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships, enhancing the client experience through exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Utilize technical expertise to structure and place trade credit programmes, gathering and analysing policy and market data to produce reports and presentations
  • Support business development opportunities within new and existing accounts, demonstrating drive and passion to succeed

Requirements:

  • Experience in trade credit, either from underwriting or broking, preferably managing your own book of clients or supporting senior brokers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a Tier 1 qualification and exceptional client relationship management capabilities
  • Proven experience working in a high-pressure professional environment, with an innovative and collaborative approach as a team player
  • Drive and passion to succeed, develop as an individual, and enhance your client-management and technical capabilities in a diverse and challenging role
