">Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Person-Centred Behavioural Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients and their families to develop and implement behaviour support plans that promote positive outcomes and improve quality of life.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviours;
- Developing and implementing behaviour support plans that are tailored to the individual's needs and goals;
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication;
- Providing training and coaching to staff on positive behaviour support strategies and best practices.
You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
">RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in Psychology or a related field;
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with complex needs;
- Strong knowledge of positive behaviour support principles and strategies;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
