Job Description

You will diagnose, service and repair all components of an ATM machine. Your work must be carried out to a high standard, in a timely manner and to an acceptable quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
  • Identify, monitor and resolve re-occurring faults.
  • Assist in resolving technical escalations.
  • Repair ATM components including labelling, testing, preparation and fitting.
  • Test, repair and utilise new ATM hardware.
  • Design and set up of testing assembly and jigs.
  • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organisation.
  • Complete repairs to the required standard and within the designated timeline.
  • Reduce cost, scrap and re-work in the repair processes.
  • Continuously improve the repair process in accordance with the company's strategy.
  • Routinely monitor and report own performance to ensure key performance indicators are achieved.
  • Maintain calibration and maintenance of assigned tools and test equipment.
  • Redirect problems to appropriate resource.
  • Develop high quality and efficient repairing and maintenance procedures and documentation.
  • Provide training once suitably experienced.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High technical aptitude.
  • Cable license or similar.
  • Technical ATM qualifications of various makes and models in the ATM industry.
  • Extensive field experience or second level support experience.
  • Experience in the ATM industry is an advantage.
  • Electric cabling experience.
