Job Overview

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality care to older Aboriginal clients in a culturally responsive manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead clinical practice and support staff development
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement within aged care programs
  • Perform general nursing responsibilities to support holistic, person-centred care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Demonstrated experience in aged care and/or community nursing, ideally in an Aboriginal health context
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Cultural awareness and understanding of the health issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
