**Senior Governance Professional**

A values-led organisation is seeking a skilled individual to join their Board, playing a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's direction and impact across the community. From aged care and disability support to education and social justice initiatives, this is an opportunity to make a tangible difference.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and governance across a broad portfolio of services, monitoring organisational performance, compliance, and risk. They will review and interpret financial reports, ensuring financial sustainability and participating in the development and oversight of strategic plans.

Promoting ethical and transparent governance, including safeguarding policies, is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will support the organisation's mission and values in all board activities, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

This is a paid position requiring a significant time commitment, including attending monthly board meetings, participating in board induction and ongoing formation activities, and engaging in committee work or advisory panels as required. Approximately 8-12 hours per month are needed for this role.

Residency and work rights in Australia are mandatory for this position.
