Deliver Support Services with Compassion and Care

Australian Unity is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Gunnedah, NSW. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering in-home support services to our aged care customers, enabling them to live independently and remain in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to customers, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and medication prompting.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Transport customers to appointments, shopping, and social outings.
  • Engage in social interaction, client observations, and ongoing training and support.
Requirements:
  • Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle.
  • Fully vaccinated minimum 2 doses for Covid-19.
  • Flexibility to work rosters between school hours Monday to Friday or early morning or late afternoons.
  • Minimum 12+ months experience and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support desirable but not essential.
