Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents in residential aged care facilities
  • Assist Registered Nurses with documentation, medication administration, and resident assessments
  • Support residents with meal consumption and monitoring nutrition
  • Contribute to infection control and prevention initiatives
  • Participate in palliative care, restorative care, and pain management programs
  • Liaise with residents' families, doctors, and allied health professionals
Requirements:
  • Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent
  • COVID vaccinations and annual flu shot
  • Current first aid and CPR certification
  • Minimum 6 months of full-time experience in aged care as a PCW in Australia
  • Current police check and NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain
