Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Trials and Cancer Care Pharmacist to join our team.

The successful applicant will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered pharmacy services within a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing medication safety and optimization.

Key responsibilities include performing clinical assessments, drug therapy monitoring, and offering patient-specific recommendations. The pharmacist will also be responsible for compounding, dispensing, and managing clinical trial drugs and supplies.

Liaising with various stakeholders, including project management, CRO partners, and internal staff for training implementation is also a key aspect of this role.

Implementing clinical trial processes and procedures efficiently preparing documentation to be used on Clinical trials is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with current unconditional Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA.
  • High level of computer literacy including systems knowledge of CHARM, Merlin, and Microsoft Office.
  • You are team-oriented, enjoy collaboration and are passionate about providing specialised patient care.
  • Previous experience and/or formal study in cancer care and the ability to perform aseptic complex compounding is highly regarded.
  • Clinical Trials experience highly desirable, including knowledge of GMP, GCP, sterile compounding, and clean room work.
