The Royal Women's Hospital is seeking an experienced Mental Health Liaison Clinician to join our team. As a critical member of our Women's Mental Health team, you will play a key role in providing consultation and liaison services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary and secondary consultation on our medical/surgical wards and implement care plans
- Provide organisational consultation in committees, act as a resource to policies and procedures, and provide education to non-mental health staff
- Assist in triaging referrals
- High level of clinical expertise in managing complex patients
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
- High level of responsibility and leadership in taking lead of clinical role
- Be dynamic in practice, enthusiastic around providing education and implementing constant service improvement
