About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our Emergency Mental Health Team at The Royal Children's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents presenting to the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical assessment and intervention to children and adolescents with mental health presentations
  • Collaborate with Emergency Department staff to ensure effective management of mental health cases
  • Liaise with families and carers to provide support and education
  • Contribute to research and evaluation activities to improve mental health services
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the applicable Health Practitioner Board
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
