About the Role
  • Develop, monitor, and implement procedures for the day-to-day security and operation of varying areas within the Centre.
  • Provide direction and leadership to Operations staff.
  • Manage varying environments and areas within the Centre, demonstrating sound technical knowledge of corrections practices and policies.

To be successful, you will have an excellent understanding of case management, analytical reporting, and well-developed people management skills. You must be willing and able to work weekends and/or night shifts, including rotational duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution, and influencing change.
  • Carry out all functions as a leading member of a multi-disciplinary team, providing guidance and direction to staff and the individuals in care.
  • Encourage positive behaviour patterns between staff and individuals.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and their representatives.
  • Coordinate case management responsibilities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and documentation.
  • Manage resources, advise on allocation, and contribute to strategic planning for the Operations Department.
