The Role

You'll be responsible for providing first-line technical support, ensuring the smooth production, maintenance, repair, and quality assurance of our products. This includes logistics, inventory management, and other warehouse activities. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will work independently and collaboratively with the KangaTech team to drive the success of the award-winning KT360 platform.

This is a full-time on-site position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Assembly & Disassembly
    • Perform mechanical and electronic assembly tasks as needed for product assembly, repair, and maintenance
  • Incoming Parts Inspection & Receiving
    • Inspect incoming parts to ensure they meet engineering specifications
    • Manage the goods-receiving process to maintain an organized inventory system
  • Quality Assurance (QA) Testing
    • Conduct weekly QA tests on software and report bugs
    • Perform ongoing QA tests on hardware for assembly, repair, and maintenance
    • Verify functional and aesthetic checks on outgoing goods before shipment
    • Maintain and update QA documentation
  • Inventory Management
    • Record and update inventory levels to ensure accuracy
    • Regularly monitor inventory and generate reports as needed
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and stocktakes
  • Logistics Management
    • Pack shipments efficiently and coordinate pickup schedules
    • Maintain and improve warehouse facilities to ensure a safe and organized working environment
  • Technical Support
    • Provide first-line technical support in software and hardware to customers worldwide
    • File support requests from the field and collaborate with internal staff to resolve issues
    • Create support documents for both internal and customer-facing use
Requirements
  • Educational Background
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, development, and testing with a proven track record of success
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively
    • Familiarity with common mechanical tools such as hand drills, torque wrenches, Dremel tools, etc.
  • Autonomy and Collaboration
    • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Logistics and Safety
    • Strong understanding of global logistics principles and practices
    • Knowledge of general manufacturing safety protocols and procedures
  • Administrative Skills
    • Proficiency in using Google Workspace tools such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Gmail for documentation, collaboration, and communication purposes, or equivalent experience in MS Office
  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively convey technical and non-technical information
