Production Worker

**Warehouse, Production & QC Operative Position Available**

**Temp to Perm | Location: Victoria Operations | Reporting to: Operations Manager VIC**

Primary Accountability:

- Ensure all activities comply with WHS legislation and Group policies.
- Uphold DIC Way, Group CSR, and Kaizen policies for corporate and social responsibility.

Production Excellence:

- Follow work instructions for quality assurance.
- Oversee production from raw material selection to quality control.
- Pick batches as per production orders and ensure accurate labeling.
- Operate in adherence to the company's health and safety manual.

Logistics Mastery:

- Efficiently receive, store, and dispatch goods.
- Utilize SAP for streamlined goods management.
- Precisely pack and dispatch, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Ensure compliance with biosecurity concerns and dangerous goods regulations.
- Accurately complete paperwork per company procedures.

Forklift Operations: Expert Handling:

- Operate forklifts following relevant legislation and company policies.
- Maintain qualifications, conduct daily maintenance, and safety checks.
- Adhere to DIC Forklift and WHS policies.

Inventory & Stocktaking: Management Excellence:

- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular and precise cycle counts and participate in stock-takes.

Technical Function: Meeting Customer Expectations:

- Follow SOPs for process control.
- Conduct Quality Control activities as required.
- Provide in-plant cover at customer sites as needed.
- Demonstrate flexibility for occasional work outside normal hours.

**Key Capabilities & Experience**:

- Knowledge and experience in a stores environment.
- Proficient in computer skills for data entry.
- Sound understanding of relevant company policies and procedures.
- Current forklift license.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
