About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relationship Manager, Broker to join our team at Latitude Financial Services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with Australia & New Zealand brokers in our 3rd party personal loan and auto loan distribution channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Broker Support: Act as the main point of contact for assigned brokers, delivering timely and accurate responses to their inquiries.
  • Product Updates: Communicate product updates, policy changes, and promotional offers to brokers.
  • Regular Contact: Maintain regular contact to ensure brokers are well-informed.
  • Quarterly Contact Plan: Work with State Leader on creating and executing a quarterly contact/broker engagement plan to drive GEM/Latitude broker utilisation.
  • Scenario Workshopping: Workshop scenarios and assist brokers in submitting and troubleshooting loan applications to ensure a smooth, seamless experience.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent outcomes for brokers and customers, including managing deal scenarios, escalations, issue resolution, and training sessions.
  • Broker Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyse broker performance, including loan submissions, approval rates, conversion rates, and submission quality.
  • Trend Identification: Identify trends and areas for improvement to enhance brokers' overall business performance and loan portfolio growth.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Asset and Personal Lending Products: Knowledge of asset and/personal lending products and process.
  • Understanding of Lending Principles: An understanding and ability to articulate basic lending principles.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Ability to understand relative laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to lending across both NZ and AU.
  • Market Knowledge: Knowledge of the New Zealand finance market (advantageous but not essential).
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service and/or dealing with brokers.
  • Phone-Based Environment: Experience within a phone-based environment, building customers and B2B relationships.
  • Account Management Experience: Prior experience with Account Management or Relationship Management role advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: An exceptional communicator with attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic knowledge of CRM systems is beneficial.
