Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Manager to join our team at Graymont Limited.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving improvements in safety culture, investigating incidents, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with site leadership and regional managers to ensure effective implementation of our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management system.

Main Responsibilities

  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and develop recommendations for prevention;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on HSEQ performance metrics;
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees and contractors on HSEQ procedures;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives;
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in WHS or Environmental Management or equivalent;
  • Proven experience in HSEQ management, preferably in the mining or construction industry;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • A valid driver's license.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits. The salary is based on national averages and can vary depending on qualifications and location.
