Position Overview

At Pact Group, we are dedicated to providing exceptional maintenance services for our MGB fleet, ensuring optimal functionality and customer satisfaction. This role involves in-field responsibilities including the distribution of new bins, replacement of damaged units, removal of unwanted or stolen bins, and the installation or repair of stands and components. The MGB Fleet Maintenance Operator is expected to efficiently manage daily tasks assigned through electronic devices, adhering to established KPIs to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Follow all documented procedures and verbal instructions, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.

· Attend to each job site and execute tasks according to the provided job allocation, ensuring compliance with specified timeframes.

· Accurately log the status of completed tasks on the device, including details on parts utilized and any relevant comments.

· Communicate with the Field Maintenance Administrator for any job-related inquiries.

· Ensure all assigned tasks are completed correctly and documented daily, including any incomplete tasks marked as 'futile' with photographic evidence.

· Report any incidents or issues encountered during the workday to the Field Maintenance Administrator, with immediate reporting of accidents to a supervisor.

· Prepare and load the vehicle for daily assignments as per job requirements.

· Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, both internally and externally.

· Conduct weekly checks of all fluid levels in the vehicle.

· Perform a daily pre-start checklist for the vehicles in operation.

· Report any mechanical issues or concerns with the vehicle as they arise.

· Ensure timely servicing of the vehicle and maintain safe/legal tyre levels.

· Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standards, including safe work and driving practices.

· Undertake additional duties as directed by the Supervisor, within the scope of capabilities.

This position does not entail direct supervisory responsibilities; however, in scenarios requiring two personnel for specific tasks, this role may assume a supervisory function.

Required Skills and Experience:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

· Completion of Year 10 and/or a Certificate II or equivalent experience.

· A forklift license is advantageous but not essential.

· A valid driver's license with a proven safe driving record.

Language Proficiency:

· Ability to read and understand basic instructions, brief correspondence, and memos in English.

· Capability to write simple correspondence in English.

· Proficient in effectively communicating information in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues in English.

Mathematical Competence:

· Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Skills:

Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic forms.
