Correctional Officer-Security Job Description

We are seeking a Correctional Officer to supervise inmates in court or cell complexes, de-escalate conflict situations, and undertake security checks and searches.

  • Full-time and casual roles available with shifts from Monday to Friday (Court only) and Monday to Sunday (Cell and Transport).
  • 10-week fully paid training program included.

Key requirements include:

  1. A minimum age of 18 years old.
  2. Current driver's license.
  3. Australia or New Zealand citizenship.
  4. Willingness to work irregular shift patterns and complete a Certificate III in Correctional Practice.

This is a great opportunity to learn a new trade and potentially open doors to a new career in the Justice system when circumstances change.

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • Age: Minimum 18 years old.

  • Citizenship: Australia or New Zealand citizenship.
