About the Role

Exclaim IT is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Solutions Architect to lead the implementation of a contemporary Human Capital Management Solution (HCMS) for our client. This three-year Program will see the configuration and implementation of several best-fit HCM solutions to enable the Department to leverage current best-practice and retain and develop its workforce to meet and exceed organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Solution Architecture Reviews and Recommendations: Conduct thorough reviews and provide recommendations for solution architecture across enhancements to Human Capital Management solutions.
  • Reduce Technical Debt and Transition to Cloud-Based Solutions: Perform reviews and recommendations for the reduction of technical debt and transitions across private and public cloud platforms, systems, and modules.
  • Assess and Transition to Cloud-Based Solutions: Perform reviews and assessments for transition to cloud-based solutions for some solutions.
  • Provide Future Technology Directions: Develop and provide recommendations for future technology directions.
  • Develop Solution Architecture and Facilitate Consultation: Develop conceptual and logical solution architecture and facilitate consultation and approval to progress to build and implementation.
  • Coordinate Technical Expertise and Advice: Coordinate technical expertise and advice across the program and cooperate with vendor resources to ensure optimal outcomes for the Department.
Desirable Criteria
  • ERP and Human Capital Management Experience: Demonstrated (minimum recent five years) Solution Architecture experience of ERP and related Human Capital Management on-premises/cloud/hybrid solutions.
  • Solution Architecture and Implementation Experience: Demonstrable and solid experience with solution (both Logical and Physical) architecture and practical implementation of stable, viable solutions suitable for the performance specified.
  • Expertise in Roadmaps and Patterns: Expertise in the production of roadmaps and patterns for new and existing solutions, aligned with strategic plans to support efficient reuse of solutions.
  • Delivering Multiple Concurrent Initiatives: Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver multiple concurrent key initiatives.
  • Relationship, Communication, and Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated high levels of relationship, communication, and negotiation skills.
Additional Requirements
  • TOGAF, ITIL, and Development Frameworks: Solid experience with TOGAF, ITIL, and Development Frameworks and associated Release and Change control methods including operational transformation.
  • Developing Trends in Solution Architecture: Knowledge of developing trends in solution architecture and implementation recommendations.
  • Enterprise and Solution Architectures: Ensures adherence to the appropriate standards of enterprise and solution architectures (corporate, industry, national, and international).
  • System Architecture Components: Establishes assessment criteria for the appropriate selection of systems architecture components, and coordinates design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency.
  • Complex Systems Architectures: Leads the development of architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers including Business teams and Development/Technical teams.
