About the Role

The Enterprise Architect plays a critical role in shaping BMD Corporate's technological landscape. This position will work closely with the Group Enterprise Architect to formalize our Enterprise Architecture using the Bizzdesign Enterprise Architecture Tool.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Formalizing and documenting the Business, Application, Data, and Technology Architecture across multiple domains
  • Performing Application Rationalization, Capability Mapping, Data Modelling, and Migration Planning for multiple domains
Key Responsibilities

The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for:

  • Developing and documenting Solution Architecture and Integration Architecture deliverables for major projects
  • Providing architecture support for major initiatives, such as Digital Workplace, Data Fabric, Contractor Management System, Customer Relationship Management, and the use of AI across the business
  • Supporting BMD Corporate's acquisition activities, including evaluating the IT Architecture of potential acquisitions and identifying integration costs and risks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in an enterprise architecture, domain architecture, or solution architecture role
  • 1-3 years of relevant demonstrable experience in an architecture role
  • TOGAF Certification (or similar) desirable
  • Knowledge of Archimate desirable
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and use logic and reasoning to solve problems and make decisions efficiently
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, capture and understand business needs, and apply business context to technical solutions
  • Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills, including verbal and written communication and active listening
  • Solid presentation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and grow as an IT Architecture professional
