
Patient Transport Specialist

The Ancillary Assistant role is an entry-level position in a hospital setting, providing support services across various departments.
This position operates as part of the non-clinical services team, taking direction from ward staff and non-clinical support services coordinators/supervisors. The Ancillary Assistant will assist the portering service in transferring patients and equipment safely and efficiently within the Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance to the portering service in moving patients and equipment.
- Work closely with other Support Services team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
This role requires a background of experience in patient transport and the ability to adapt to changing situations. Successful candidates will have completed or be willing to participate in training and education appropriate to improve skills required for the performance of the position.
Required Qualifications- A background of experience in patient transport.
