Job Title: Patient Transport Officer

As a Patient Transport Officer, you will be responsible for the safe and courteous transportation of patients with various medical conditions. Your role will play a pivotal part in ensuring patient comfort and care during transit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough patient assessments and intervene accordingly while on-road.
  • Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders.
  • Exercise independence and problem-solving skills within established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members.

Requirements:

  • A minimum qualification of Cert III in Non-Emergency Patient Care, Diploma of Nursing, or equivalent.
  • Availability to work 10 and 12-hour shifts across seven days.
  • Ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions.
  • Compassion, professionalism, and dedication to providing excellent service.
  • Experience working in the NEPT sector in an equal role is desirable but not essential.
  • Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Full Driver's Licence, Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia.
