Job Description

The Dame Phyllis Frost Centre is seeking a Manager to provide a critical role in the development of safer and more resilient communities.

This role involves leading and motivating diverse functional teams responsible for in-prison planning, budget, financial management, human resources, training, stores, accounts, purchasing and prisoner services including records and property.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing corporate and business support services, playing a critical leadership role in the delivery of outcomes associated with the Cultural Review recommendations.

This role may require travel across prison locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate diverse functional teams.
  • Manage strategic planning and delivery of corporate and business support services.
  • Develop and implement key savings initiatives and strategies to ensure effective and efficient budget delivery.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
  • Qualifications in finance, business management or human resources (desirable).
