About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Occupational Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team in Darwin. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in formal and experiential training to develop the skills needed to feel competent and confident in your role
  • Conduct worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment, and home assessments (dependent on profession)
  • Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and develop strategies to overcome them
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Design, implement, and monitor programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
Requirements
  • Qualifications and registration in Occupational Therapy or Social Work
  • Willingness to travel (a current vehicle and driver's license are essential)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
  • A keen sense of punctuality and effective time management
