**The Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Support Officer to join our team in Cabarlah.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to project management and facilitating administrative, financial, procurement, contract management and coordination requirements.

You will be accountable for leading the development and maintenance of project planning and processes in accordance with agreed procedures and performance standards.

You will research, draft and prepare briefs, complex correspondence and reports including submissions for committee consideration.

You will work collaboratively and operate as an effective team member, providing constructive feedback.

You will engage with relevant stakeholders and understand their expectations and concerns.

You will assess and adjust project management methodologies to comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.

You will resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.

**About Our Team**

We undertake the acquisition and through-life-support of assigned Joint and Air Electronic Warfare Capabilities used by the Australian Defence Force.

We deliver countermeasures development and validation services and support a number of projects being delivered to the Intelligence and Security Group.

Our team is comprised of members of diverse skills and disciplines who work together to provide a wide variety of activities undertaken by EWIS.

You will be part of the Borneo Barracks CA36 Sustainment team and your Integrated Logistics Support, Contract Management and Procurement knowledge will support technical and sustainment activities to ensure quality, and compliance with appropriate technical delegations commensurate with relevant legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.

You will engage with stakeholders, investigate, report, develop, evaluate, advise and implement policies, processes, procedures, practice and manage resources specific to assurance and data specifications to support Defence capability.
