Commercial Management Expert

This critical role supports the delivery of our integrity goal by leading a team in legal, procurement, and contract management services, providing strategic advice, and driving commercial performance improvement. Key duties include:

  • Managing commercial functions effectively, including legal, procurement, and contract management services
  • Implementing process improvements to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Protecting the organisation's commercial interests through informed decision-making
  • Assessing commercial components of new initiatives and business cases
  • Reviewing and authorising significant supplier contracts
  • Enhancing commercial and financial literacy across the business
  • Optimising value from outsourced legal functions while managing risk

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Accountancy or Commerce/Business degree
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a track record of delivering positive outcomes

The ideal candidate will possess significant senior-level commercial experience, strong commercial acumen, and a customer-centric approach, along with high-level flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
