Job Title: Meat Packaging Associate

Job Description:

As a meat packaging associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and presentation of our packaged meats. This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

  • Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Inspecting and reassembling equipment to maintain high sanitation standards.
    • Operate machinery such as labelers, wrapping machines, and mincers in accordance with established procedures.
    • Clean and sanitize the work area throughout the day.
    • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
    • Assist with front-end duties and support other departments as needed.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Meeting productivity targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring prompt and courteous interactions.
    • Maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
