Fresh Produce Category Management Specialist

Our organization is focused on delivering fresh produce to customers around the world.
We seek a Category Supply Manager to join our team, responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to meet volumes, specifications, quality, and regional risk management requirements.
- The ideal candidate will possess experience in a similar role in fresh produce, with solid relationships with 3rd party growers and excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture or horticulture is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
The successful candidate will be proactive, persuasive, and flexible, with a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Key responsibilities include maintaining relationships with supply partners, coordinating sourcing and procurement activities, collaborating with the sales team to determine distribution solutions, and managing seed/breeding companies and nurseries.
Essential Requirements- Proven experience in category management with expertise in fresh produce.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
