About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Common Law Paralegal to join our thriving team as a Specialist Assistant to leading personal injury lawyers. In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on helping plaintiff clients achieve justice in public liability, work injury damages, motor vehicle accidents, and other common law claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior lawyers in managing personal injury cases from start to finish;
  • Provide front-line support in conducting research, drafting documents, and preparing court submissions;
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless case management and effective communication;
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance case outcomes and client satisfaction;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for growth and improvement;
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months of experience as a legal secretary or paralegal/law clerk in personal injury law;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients;
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Degree of Diploma in a relevant field (law, business, or related field);
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities;
