About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Communication Specialist to join our team at HealthcareLink. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping children, young people, and adults living with a disability achieve optimal independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and provide intervention to clients with communication and swallowing difficulties
  • Develop personalized augmentative and alternative communication systems tailored to individual client needs
  • Work closely with carers, assistants, and other professionals to deliver effective therapeutic outcomes
  • Train carers on effective mealtime management support and swallowing intervention
  • Promote functional goals and independence through collaborative efforts
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
  • Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Australia membership
  • Knowledge of functional communication and swallowing assessments, interventions, and outcome measures
  • NDIS experience and understanding is desirable but not essential
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Current driver's licence and registered vehicle
