Communications Specialist Role

The role will focus on supporting internal and external communications through high-quality written materials, social media engagement and events.

  • Prepare and disseminate professional written content, including reports, blog posts, case studies and media releases.
  • Manage and curate engaging social media content to promote the organization's brand awareness.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination to target key stakeholders.
  • Support in reviewing and reporting on communications activities.
  • Contribute to content creation for various channels, including videos and podcasts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic communication plan to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Produce and disseminate high-quality written materials, such as reports and case studies.
  • Manage social media accounts to create engaging content and promote the organization's brand.
  • Collaborate with experts to develop and implement communication plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate communications activities to ensure alignment with goals.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as communications, marketing or public relations.
  • Experience in writing, social media management and event coordination.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong passion for communication and stakeholder engagement.

This is a fixed-term position, requiring applicants to have work rights in Australia matching the tenure of the role. A National Police Clearance and background checks will be conducted on successful applicants.
