Eye Care Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Eye Care professional to join our Ophthalmology Surgical and Critical Care Department. As an integral member of the team, you will provide day-to-day eye care services to patients at Caloundra Hospital and Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

This fixed-term temporary contract commences in August 2025 and offers a rewarding career opportunity across a wide range of clinical areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality, safe ophthalmology care and advice to patients presenting to the Ophthalmology Department.
  • Provision of ophthalmic services to support both outpatient and surgical activity, including being competent to conduct independent cataract lists.
  • Performing clinical and non-clinical duties as directed by the Director of Ophthalmology.
