Our organization is seeking an experienced Airport Training and Compliance Coordinator to join our team.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, developing and maintaining training plans, and coaching staff to achieve positive outcomes. As an Airport Training and Compliance Coordinator, you will play a key role in implementing the National Capability Development Program.

You will engage directly with management teams to support the development and effective delivery of local capability development and audit programs. The ideal candidate will have sound experience in a complex regulatory compliance and training delivery work environment, as well as experience in leading and managing diverse teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: Conduct site activities and performance audits in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Airport Accreditation: Implement the Aviation Screener Accreditation Scheme across all airport sites.
  • Training and Coaching: Provide coaching and mentoring to training staff and employees to achieve a positive compliance outcome.
  • Training Plan Development: Develop and maintain training plans to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Scheduling and Assessment: Schedule training sessions and ensure all training and competency assessments are conducted efficiently.
Requirements:
  • A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110), plus TAELLN unit.
  • A Certificate II Transport Security Protection or grandfathered screener status.
  • An Auditor certification.
  • A current Australian Driver's License.
