Director of Sustainable Operations

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Director of Sustainable Operations to join our team in APAC. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in driving our Travel with Purpose 2030 goals, which aim to cut our managed portfolio emissions by 75% and cut water and waste by 50%.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of corporate experience and a strong background in engineering or environmental science. You will be responsible for developing and executing cross-functional technical environmental initiatives and programs to ensure company short and long-term sustainability goals are met.
Main Responsibilities- Drive sustainability strategy and initiatives across APAC, focusing on energy and water conservation.
- Analyse and align compliance with company and regional/global environmental legislation.
- Deliver technical sustainability support to other parts of the business and individual hotels to establish optimal operating conditions.
- Develop and implement sustainability awareness and training programs.
- Actively control and manage the LightStay ESG management platform for APAC.
- Qualified in an engineering or environmental related discipline.
- Ability to engage and motivate team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyse departmental data.
- Experience of managing and developing a digital ESG management platform.
- Good time management with excellent organisational and planning skills.
Hilton Hotels offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus access to the world's best Team Member Travel Program, comprehensive training and support, and extensive range of career development opportunities.
