Job Title: Associate Director of Environment and Sustainability

Job Summary

AtkinsRéalis Australia have newly created a national position for an Associate Director of Environment & Sustainability to lead our team from either Brisbane or Sydney.

In this role, you would be responsible for supporting our current portfolio of work within the renewable energy, defence, water and transportation markets nation-wide, as well as the overall growth and development of new environmental service lines and our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the environmental consultancy team, including delivery of pre and post approval works.
  • Playing a key role in the development of AtkinsRéalis' environmental and sustainability capabilities across Australia's Power & Renewables, Defence, Transportation and Water markets.
  • Contributing to the development of complex project proposals/cost estimates and participating in the process of securing new business opportunities or expanding the scope of existing projects.
  • Leading the environmental requirements across multi-sector projects and work with our global team.
  • Building and developing the environmental team, liaising with internal talent acquisition through experienced and early career recruitment.
  • Operating as a key client contact, developing environmental opportunities, managing client expectations and building lasting relationships.
  • Working with the ANZ leadership team to develop service line strategies.
  • Delivering on market strategies to determine project opportunities.
