Job Description:

The growing influence of non-financial issues, including environmental performance and social impact, is reshaping the business landscape, affecting financial performance and long-term business success for our clients and communities. As markets move towards a greater focus on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risks, our Climate Change and Sustainability services team helps our clients bring a high level of rigour and robustness to ESG information collection, measurement and reporting.

Your Opportunity:

As a Sustainability Assurance Associate Director, you will have the opportunity to support business development, apply your technical knowledge in leading assurance and some advisory projects, build trusted networks with our prestigious clients, and grow your personal knowledge in this dynamic and exciting field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical and high-quality analysis of ESG processes and data measurement, including benchmarking organisational performance.
  • Apply International and/or Australian Auditing Standards (ISAE and ASAE) in assurance projects.
  • Design and implement assurance approaches and procedures, testing and analysis, review and reporting.
  • Engage with clients and develop meaningful relationships to aid in business development.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have knowledge and experience of international sustainability frameworks and guidelines and standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). You will also have a strong passion for sustainability and ESG issues, and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
