About the Role

East Grampians Health Service is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their community health team in Ararat and Willaura. As an integral member of the occupational therapy department, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to clients across various settings, including community health centers and outreach clinics.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Conduct assessments, provide interventions, and evaluate patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the occupational therapy department.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Proven experience working in community or paediatric settings, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented by these environments.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
