Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Finance Team in Perth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to key stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate reporting that complies with relevant statutory and accounting standards.

The role involves:

  • Providing expert financial information and advice to Business Development and Bidding Managers.
  • Coordinating and managing budgets/forecasts processes with functional budget owners.
  • Regularly reviewing and analysing costs against bid budgets and distributing cost reports to key stakeholders.
  • Managing WBS codes creations and ensuring effective cost controls are in place.
  • Ensuring purchase requisitions are raised accurately and in a timely manner within approved limits.
  • Monitoring cashflow related to tenders, ensuring proper invoicing, collections, and payment terms are established.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4-5 years experience in a Senior Accounting role.
  • Previous experience within a corporate construction environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP is desired.
  • Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting or equivalent qualification.
