Children Services Coordinator Role

This is a maternity cover contract for a Coordinator position at Y NSW in Broken Hill.

We seek a committed Coordinator and Nominated Supervisor to inspire children at our Burke Ward OSHC services. The successful candidate will design and deliver a safe, effective, and fun OSHC service following Y values, overseeing a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging programs.

The Coordinator will become a trusted leader in the community, working closely with families, schools, and charity partners to turn the Y's global mission into local action. They will manage a dynamic team of Educators, helping everyone's individual growth, and be able to follow our development pathway to learn new skills and build their career.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience of and commitment to being responsible for the safety and well-being of children
  • Experience leading others

  • Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours

You will work within a supportive team linking community education, recreation, and youth services. You will also learn and develop through the Y's online Learning and Development module programs.
