Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Lead Analyst for Regulatory Oversight Management in Singapore.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor client payments, daily cash, and wire transactions, addressing flags raised by the transaction system.
  • Manage the daily processing of cash movements by bank clients, confirming transaction validity with managers in cash processing and client services.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and wire recipients, addressing inquiries and concerns about the transfer process.
  • Ensure procedures associated with monitoring client funds transfers are followed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process funds transfer or settlement instructions in a timely manner, adhering to payment cut-off times and service level agreements (SLAs), escalating issues as needed.
  • Investigate differences in cash processing, perform settlements, and reconcilements.
  • Adhere to and complete regulatory and compliance monitoring and reporting, as required.
  • Complete setup and testing of file transfer processes and connectivity with clients.
  • Serve as an escalation point for data processing issues, providing input on quality improvement processes.
  • Responsible for the quality and completion of own work, supporting assigned tasks from managers.
  • Assist in collecting US tax documentation for IRS requirements.
  • Participate in business initiatives, including new projects, contributing to team objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 3-5 years' experience in financial services or payment processing roles preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal skills essential.
  • Knowledge of local payments systems, such as Austraclear, and SWIFT payment systems preferred.
  • Effective time management skills, able to manage end-to-end processes in high-volume days.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing, meeting deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm for operations excellence initiatives to improve efficiency.
  • A strong team player, able to support colleagues.
  • Flexible working hours, able to support evening shifts when required.
