ECC Veterinary Director

The hospital is seeking an experienced ECC veterinarian to play a key role in the growth of the organization. This clinical role will involve managerial duties, including overseeing clinical excellence and establishing best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Working as an ECC veterinarian across various shifts to deliver high-quality care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Establishing and maintaining best practice processes for the department to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Communicating the hospital's vision and department updates to team members to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensuring the department meets financial targets to sustain growth and development.
- Collaborating with the Business Manager and other department heads to develop strategic growth initiatives.
- Providing feedback and conducting performance reviews to support team members.
- Assisting with recruitment activities and building a strong team culture.
- A veterinary degree registered in New South Wales.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience working in a 24/7 Emergency and Specialist Care hospital.
- Proven ability to lead teams successfully and manage staff.
- Strategic thinking and management training (formal or informal through Continuing Professional Development).
- Commitment to being a team player and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
