About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned risk governance professional to join our team as a Lead Risk Governance Specialist. This key role will play a pivotal part in shaping and implementing risk management frameworks, policies, and standards across our organization.
In this role, you will lead the annual prudential standard attestation process, drive improvements in policies and standards, and ensure we maintain top-notch regulatory compliance. You will work closely with senior leaders, advising document owners, guiding approvals, and partnering with the Group Risk Extended Leadership Team to deliver exceptional value.
You will also be hands-on with the CPS220 risk management declaration, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with internal stakeholders, including the Chief Risk Officer, General Managers, divisional leads, and the regulatory engagement team.
As a natural communicator, you will prepare clear, concise briefings for senior stakeholders, leveraging your expertise in financial services, risk management, and prudential standards. Your strong understanding of MS Office, especially PowerPoint, and Service Now (a plus) will enable you to create engaging presentations and streamline processes.

The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Commerce, Business, Law, or a related field, accompanied by a proven track record in risk management, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.
