Key Responsibilities
  • Provide informed advice to facilitate the efficient delivery of strategic initiatives and ensure effective oversight of reform implementation.
  • Develop high-level written materials, including executive correspondence, briefing documents, status reports, and information papers related to departmental programs and initiatives.
  • Offer governance and secretariat support to foster coordination and operations within governance groups focused on the reform agenda.
  • Provide timely, trusted, and informed advice on strategic and operational matters to ensure the achievement of desired outcomes for women's safety and justice reform.
  • Establish productive partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders to guarantee successful implementation of the reform program.

Technical Skills, Abilities, and Cultural Capability
  • Deliver high-level strategic analysis, advice, briefing papers, meeting minutes, agendas, speaking points, and other written materials as required.
  • Support governance groups responsible for overseeing the women's safety and justice reforms through secretariat services.
  • Promote development of papers addressing strategic issues relevant to the portfolio, while assisting Director, Assistant Director-General, and Deputy Director-General in representing the department in relevant forums.
  • Maintain consistency with Government commitments and directions by meeting deadlines and performance requirements, while enhancing team members' capabilities.
  • Exercise culturally capable leadership in building collaborative relationships, progressing business objectives, and upholding accountability through liaising with departmental and other agency partners.
