Job Description\

The role of a Cotton Ginner is a vital position in the agricultural industry, responsible for leading shift operations at our Merah North cotton gin site.

Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Safely and efficiently operate the cotton gin production process.\
  • Oversee all aspects of the gin operation, ensuring consistent adherence to established procedures and instructions.\
  • Maintain a safe and productive working environment, adhering to state and federal safety regulations.\
  • Supervise employees during day or night shifts.\
  • Assist in the instruction and tutoring of crew members in their duties and responsibilities.\
  • Ensure full utilization of staff and maintain the physical appearance of the premises and areas under control.\
  • Monitor production and maintenance activities.\

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and safety-focused leader with proven experience in production or agricultural operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications\
  • \
  • Strong supervisory skills.\
  • Hands-on knowledge of machinery, maintenance, or electrical systems.\
  • Ability to oversee daily operations effectively.\
  • Strong computer literacy and reporting skills.\
  • Collaborative teamwork skills.\
  • Prior gin or agricultural experience.\
  • Background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fitter, welding, or fabrication.\
  • At least four year's relevant experience.\
  • Working within a strict safe work environment.\
  • Willingness and ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug + Alcohol testing.\
