Production Leader

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee the production of our newspaper, ensuring timely delivery and high quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in newspaper production, with experience in managing teams and implementing efficient processes. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work well under pressure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Shift Undermanagers and Engineering Coordinators to support safe and efficient implementation of the mine plan
  • Reviewing daily progress and ensuring corrective actions have taken place
  • Liaising with other Superintendents to achieve targeted results
  • Providing input into annual budgeting process
  • Leading Production team meetings
  • Developing effective Communication strategies for the Production team
  • Establishing clear boundaries of responsibility and accountability for all team members
