Job Title

As a Diesel Fitter with Sync Lift Engineering, you will be responsible for conducting field service, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs on mining and heavy earthmoving equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities and robust systems to work autonomously across various mine sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting field service, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs on mining and heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Completing scheduled maintenance and servicing across various sites
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Working autonomously across various mine sites
  • Complying with all site safety procedures and reporting requirements
Requirements:
  • Diesel Fitter/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic certification
  • Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience in mining or heavy industry
  • Experience with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, or similar equipment
  • Current Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
  • Standard 11 or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current manual driver's license (HR advantageous)
  • Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
  • Experience on drilling equipment also an advantage
  • Ability to work autonomously in remote locations
