We rally together, drawing on the diverse skills across our teams and create environments where great ideas are heard.At UGL, we are seeking interest from E&I Technicians, supported by the Maintenance Team Leader, to join the Fuels & Energy East business based onsite at Curtis Island in Gladstone QLD where we have an established and valued presence.The E&I Technicians are a key component within our project delivery & maintenance teams who will be responsible for supporting project teams on the APLNG facility.We have a supportive culture offering competitive pay rates and ongoing training & development.About The RoleYou will bring previous experience from an Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or continuous processing plant.
Exposure to working in tanks, confined spaces and piping will be highly regarded:Delivery of E&I scope under the contractExecution of planned and unplanned breakdown maintenanceMaintaining and replacing electrical equipmentProvide technical advice and support on electrical & instrument to the field project and maintenance teamsTroubleshooting, calibrating, repair and service of fixed plant instrumentation and electrical assetsIdentify risks and maintain awareness amongst employees and process conditions in a Major Hazardous FacilityDevelop and drive continuous improvement and cost-effective solutionsWorking at heights activitiesBeing flexible and adaptable to changing business needsIdentifying and implementing improvement initiatives which may involve working with many different disciplines within the organisationAbout YouYou will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another.
