Responsibilities
  • In the absence of a Senior Technician, assist the base supervisor in job allocation where work has not been allocated for the following day.
  • Assist all fellow employees in a supportive manner as an integral part of working as a team.
  • Complete and maintain a daily diary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness/tidiness in the immediate area of your work, both in the workshop and on site.
  • Promote and market Furmanite services, products and business solutions.
  • Comply with the Quality System for the supply of services and products to our clients in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.
  • Comply with Furmanite company policies and procedures, as varied from time to time.
Requirements
  • With Fitter & Turner, or Fitter Machinist or other relevant skill
  • Trade certificate is highly preferable
  • Must hold a valid Australian Driver's License.
  • Must hold a Construction Card
  • Ability to work Onshore, offshore and on remote site.
  • Ability to work shift work
  • Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good written and verbal communication in the English language
  • Computer literacy an advantage.
